Bagudu, others, visit Borno over Zabarmari massacre

The Kebbi State Governor and the Chairman of Progressives Governors’ Forum (PGF), Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu on Tuesday visited Borno State to condole with the
Government and people of Borno State over the recent gruesome murder of fourty three farmers by insurgents.
The Governor was together with the Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, the Deputy Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello and Chairman of TETFUND, Kashim Ibrahim-Imam.
The Governors expressed rude shock and deep sympathy to the Government and people of Borno State on the horrendous act by callous and mindless insurgents.
Speaking on behalf of Nigeria’s Governors Forum, Fayemi, extended the heartfelt condolences to the Governor and people of Borno State, as well as the families of the deceased.
The forum also profoundly wished quick recovery to those who were injured during the dastardly attack , even as they prayed to the Almighty Allah, to guard against the recurrence of the unfortunate incident.
A statement signed by Yahaya Sarki Special Adviser to Bagudu on Media and Publicity, said that, the Governor had since returned back home safely.
