KANO ASSEMBLY SPEAKER,MAJORITY LEADER RESIGNS

Kano State House of Assembly speaker Abdulaziz Garba Gafasa has resigned from his position.

In a letter obtained by PRIME TIME NEWS quoted by blueinknews, Mr Gafasa said his resignation was based on personal grounds in a letter sent to the house on Tuesday.

reports disclosed that the speaker’s resignation was confirmed by a member representing Doguwa Constituency, Mr Salisu Ibrahim Ririwai.

Mr Salisu said “The speaker resigned on his own personal reason according to his resignation letter sent to the 9th Assembly platform at 1:08am while the majority leader did not give reason for his resignation” .

Another letter obtained by this newspaper confirmed that the Majority Leader of the House, Kabiru Hassan Dashi have resigned but no reason was given for his resignation.
