Activities have picked up at Katsina State Land Borders following the re-opening of the Nigeria Borders by the Federal Government.
Katsina post reports from Magamar Jibia Boarder indicate that movement of Persons and Permissible Goods are gradually taking shape.
Many of the residents were seen jubilating over the resumption of business activities at the Border; even though there was restriction of movement of some goods for both exportation and importation at the Land Border.
This development, according to the residents, would promote trades in classified approved good and services, as well as, enhance the Country’s Revenue Generation.
The report observed that following the re-opening of the Land Borders, Security Agents have become more vigilant to checkmate any smuggling activities.
Similarly, report from Kongolom Border in Mai’adua Local Government area indicates that movement of persons and other border activities have been returning gradually.
As with Magama Jibia Border, residents in Kongolom are full of joy over the development.
