The organized Labour in Katsina state has called for the standardization of all accredited public and private health facilities to effectively implement the Contributory Health Care Scheme in the state.

Comrade Abubakar Garba Ibrahim, the state NLC Secretary made the call in a goodwill message presented at the flag off of the Contributory Health Care Scheme in Katsina.

Ibrahim also urged government to ensure the provision of adequate drugs, equipment and manpower to all the accredited health institutions for the smooth take off of the programme.

He observed that, the delay of one month window period agreed upon would be an advantage to ensure perfect operation and services of the Healthcare Contributory Management Agency.

Similarly, he emphasized the need for continued public awareness to enlighten the enrollees on the benefits of the scheme.

Comrade Abubakar Garba Ibrahim therefore urged all civil servants in the state to enroll into the scheme and cooperate with the agency’s operational guidelines.
