Gudi Emirate Confer Traditional Title To Yobe Comm. of local govt Cheiftaincy Affairs

Gudi Emirate Council of Fika local government of Yobe State confer traditional Title on Alhaji Yarima Lawan Mahmud Honorable Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The Emir of Gudi Alhaji Isa Ibn Bunuwo Bin Khaji conferred Alhaji Yerima Lawan with the traditional title holder of Baraya (Ambassador) of Gudi Emirate Council, of Yobe state due to the contributions his given to the emirate.

Receiving the Traditional title the new Baraya of Gudi Emira the Commissioner, thanked His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gudi Alhaji Isa Ibn Bunuwo Bin Khaji for finding him worthy to be an ambassador of Gudi Emirate Council.

And assured to justify the confidence reposed in him, by making the Emirate proud of his contributions to the development of the Emirate.

Presenting the appointment letter, the Emir of Gudi represented by the Chiroma of Gudi, explained that the title of Baraya, was in existence since before the coming of Colonial Masters.

He added that the Emirate found Yarima suitable for the title of Baraya, because of his immense contribution to the development of the State.
