Customers to enjoy improved service delivery, reliable supply says KEDCO MD/CEO

The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) says its numerous customers would feel the impact of the company’s investment in terms of quality service delivery and reliable supply.
Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEDCO disclosed this on Thursday, while chatting with journalists on efforts being put in place by KEDCO to guarantee customers’ satisfaction.
According to the Kano DisCo boss, some of the measures that have been planned to ensure customers enjoy good packages include: network rehabilitation, construction of new feeders, upgrade of feeders, DT metering, upgrade of substations and acquiring new transformers.
Dr Gwamna said KEDCO plans to make the investment in view of the need to ensure reliability in service delivery as well as give the needed platform to propel economic growth within the states under Kano franchise.
Before the end of this year or by early 2022, customers will start enjoying the results of these investments in our network and other improvements being proposed vis-a-vis power distribution in Kano Katsina and Jigawa States.
The Kano DisCo boss appealed to customers to reciprocate the gesture by protecting all KEDCO installations in their communities, avoiding meter bypass, frequent payment of electricity bills as well as embracing the free meter deployment and installation in their households.
